My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I picked up this book at a thrift store for $0.50. I have been meaning to read something by Peter Straub for a while now because he’s collaborated a bunch with my favorite author, Stephen King. I am immensely happy that I snagged this one. Even though this is the second in Straub’s Blue Rose trilogy, I didn’t feel as though I was missing part of a story. It’s title suits it’s subject matter, very mysterious and very intriguing from beginning to end. I can’t wait to pick up more of his spookier titles in the future! I’ve officially become a fan.
