LET’S TALK ABOUT ART, BABY: November Thirty, Two Thousand Fourteen

This year has been a blur. Since the last post, a lot has changed. I’m now working for the awesome dudes over at www.NemesisVideo.com helping to illustrate and design some of their VHS rereleases and other products, as well as making sweet treats at a bakery. You might be thinking, “What does this mean for AngieLaineMakes… WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!?!?” Well, hopefully now that the adjustment period is over, that means I’ll be spending a lot of time in my studio and there will be a lot more to look at here on my website. I’m attempting to make this website a regular hub for all things spooky and goofy like I had originally planned in March of this year before my huge life changes knocked everything out of whack. Let’s all cross our fingers and hope that works out this time!

Another new thing here at angielainemakes.com is the STORE page. If you click on that page, you will find a link to the AngieLaineMakes store over at storenvy.com. There are a few things to check out there, and in January of 2015 I will be fully launching my collaborative line of VHS posters from the tapes that Nemesis Video and I have worked on together along with a few lines of creative/spooky items I’ve made HOPEFULLY including prints, shirts, sweet treats, and MAAAAAAYBE a few small sculptures over time. In the meantime, I’ll be posting weekly or biweekly updates on projects, and blogging a bit about my general interests and inspiration (horror, comics, science fiction, baking).

Please check out the site, and don’t forget to like Angie Laine Makes on Facebook, @AngieLaineMakes on twitter, and @AngieLaineMakes on instagram for more updates!

Stay Weird!

IT’S ALIVE: March Sixteen, Two Thousand and Fourteen

IT’S ALIVE, folks! And this time it’s going to stay that way! Eventually I’d like this site to be a place where people can go to see updates and blog posts dealing with the things I create. This site along with my soon-to-come sister site frightfuldelightful.com will be a hub for art and baking that have a spooky themed subject matter. It may be slow going at first, but I do promise to entertain!

For now, here’s a friend of mine, Weird B. Dudel:
